Yikes! It’s April!

Holy week's over and that means long vacation's almost through too. What am I complaining about? It's not like I'm going to back to a mundane job in an boxy office again. I'm actually looking forward to working again. I want to get that AMTI catalog done asap. Ergh! Tech catalogs are really boring.

 

So, 4 days in Baguio is history and Christian's going back to Iloilo early Tuesday morning and I will be alone again in the house, working, juggling schedules, figuring my way out, day dreaming, getting bored and having fun entertaining myself with silly stuff that only I can understand… I miss Baguio weather…

 

By the way, I've finally parted ways with my old Nike shoes (given by Uncle Froilan during my stay in Canada so I didn't have to walk around the city in my heeled school shoes..ergh!) and my really dirty, overly worn out white leather Vans I bought when I got back in the Philippines. Those Nikes survived Mt. Makulot and Mt. Batulao! Too bad the soles were falling off from too much washing. I sure gonna miss my Vans… It served me well until the soles got too smooth and water started seeping in whenever it's raining. Gonna need to buy a replacement soon. I hope the kids scavenging stuff from the garbage weren't too disappointed when they saw the condition of my good ol' shoes. Hey, I'd still wear them myself….

You’ve worn that Nike all this time? I’m surprised it lasted that long! You need to come back here to Canada for a new pair of real good Nike, free. Also, I just gave away your winter boots to charity. We’ll buy you another one when you come.

Yep, I get attached to my shoes. I loved those Nikes cuz they were so comfy. My other two Adidas running shoes are giving up on me already and I’ve only used them for less than a year. Can’t wait to go back there for shoes. Hehehe!
