Is the world really melting?
Monday, March 26, 2007It has been four months since I first saw The Inconvenient Truth and though it initially brought a startling realization that the world is no longer as good to live in as before, it's just during the past few days that the global warming phenomenon started to really bother me.
Working on my own in my house no longer affords me the luxury of 8-9 hours of free aircon. I'm melting and there has to be a constant supply of ice cream in my fridge. Today's temperature is probably more than 32 degrees plus humidity. Last week in Bora was truly a bliss and even though my sweat glands never really had a chance to rest, I certainly didn't mind the extreme heat cuz the cool ocean water was just a few steps away. But Manila is hell! Would it be possible to bring all my work to Baguio and stay there for the rest of the summer? Or else I have to buy myself an AC…for Jess's benefit too…

Yes, I think staying in Baguio will be cheaper than an air con. You have to do a lot of travelling though. Ice cream will make you “fat”. Best of luck.
